This will work best if you aim to write not an argument, but a story -- a vividly rendered autobiographical tale in which you are the protagonist.
It's also best not to try to write your whole life story. Just pick out one specific experience, and tell it in detail.
And remember: At the end of your draft, I want you to tell me (1) who you're going to write about in Part 2 and (2) what sources you plan to use, i.e., whether that source is a book, a trio of news articles, or an interview.
